Description:
Bronze struck medal with obverse showing seal of the Grand Lodge of the New York State consisting of two winged creatures with goat-like legs flanking central oval medlalion with cross and symbols of four apostles, enclosed by branches; motto on scrolling band: "HOLINESS/TO THE/LORD"; surrounding legend: "GRAND LODGE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK." Reverse bears masonic symbols at center, angle and compass, with superimposed inscription: "TO/COMMEMORATE/THE FREEDOM OF THE/CRAFT FROM DEBT/1889./M.F.FRANK R.LAWRENCE/BEING GRAND MASTER"; legend: "THE.HAND.OF.THE.LORD.HATH.WROUGHT.THIS."
