Three-piece brass and steel grain scale consisting of pedestal stand with circular base, balance arm with calibrated bar with sliding weight on one side and suspension apparatus on the other, and cylindrical bucket; wooden case with hinged lid with printed instructions affixed inside and fitted interior, including slot for ivory "roll," a tool resembling a tongue depressor used to "strike off the top" before weighing grain.
