Description: 
White sleeveless ribbed cotton dress (a) with a low square neckline; needlepoint lace trims the garment openings; square of appliqué just below the neckline on the front of the bodice; pleats at waist of the ankle length skirt; two bands of appliqué toward the hem of the skirt; hem decorated with whitework lace; five mother-of-pearl buttons up the back of the bodice; A-line jacket (b) with a round neckline trimmed with eyelet lace; three-quarter-length sleeves trimmed with eyelet lace at the cuff and decorated with geometric appliqué; front and back of jacket covered in geometric patterned appliqué; hem trimmed with eyelet lace; four mother-of-pearl buttons up the front; mantelet (c) covered with scroll and geometric appliqué with a round neckline; pointed at the four corners; hem trimmed with eyelet lace.
