Reverse shows Washington and his staff, on horseback, watching the British evacuation of Boston and entrance of the American forces; legend above: "HOSTIBUS PRIMO FUGATIS"; inscription in exergue: "BOSTONIUM RECUPERATUM/XVII.MARTII/MDCCLXXVI."
