"Games of Checkers, Backgammon and Toussel" board game with a hinged box that opens like a book with a backgammon board on the interior; box opens to a red and gold checkerboard with a path of gold squares with foliate and geometric decoration around the edges; game board slides into a paper covered cardboard sleeve with a chromolithograped label with an image of a man and woman playing checkers and the inscription, "GAMES OF/ CHECKERS/ Back-gammon/ AND/ TOUSEL/ McLOUGHLIN BRO'S, NEW YORK."; playing pieces include a paper instruction booklet, a pair of dice, and thirty-eight wooden playing pieces in a cardboard box bottom.
