Architectural capital: wooden composite order pilaster capital from the cabin wall of the Spanish cruiser "Reina Mercedes"; paper with inscription affixed to back.
Gallery Label:
The cruiser Reina Mercedes, built for the Spanish Navy in 1887, was captured in Cuba by the U.S. Navy in 1898 during the Spanish-American War.
