Description:
"Chasseur pattern" gray wool felt forage cap; black patent leather visor which is flat and somewhat rectangular; soft crown with circular, countersunk top; band of black felt around base of crown with initials "LCC" in white metal at center front; black patent leather chin strap secured at either side by a gilded metal button embossed with shield-breasted eagle; black leather sweatband and brown textile lining.
