Red plastic TWA flight bag with two handles, id tag slot and one pocket; zipper closure across the top; white plastic piping along the edges; "TWA" logo of two intersecting globes printed on each side.

The donor collected this bag and other related airline materials at garage sales, flea markets, and collectibles shops in the New Jersey area. New York has been a major hub for the air travel since the early twentieth century. Trans World Airlines was organized here in 1928 and headquatered here until 1988.
