Description:
Wool flag with three vertical stripes of orange, white and blue; the center white stripe is painted with an image of a shield with cider casks and beavers separated by an "x"; shield is between a Native American holding a bow and a Pilgrim; an eagle surmounting a globe is above, and the inscription "1664" is below and "SONS OF RHODE ISLAND" is above, all surrounded by a laurel wreath; white cotton hoist with metal grommets at each end.
