Eight comb black leather fire helmet with tooled leaf and scroll border on brim; black leather frontpiece with "BEDFORD / FD" in red painted leather lettering on white ground; engraved brass frontpiece holder with red and black enameled emblem on either side; textile half-lining and back flap.
