Inspired by the P.O.W. bracelets of the 1970's, 9.11 bracelets honor the brave men who gave their lives rescuing others on September 11th, 2001. The money raised by the sale of these bracelets was donated to a charity selected by the firefighters. William D. Lake was one of the seven members of Rescue 2 in Brooklyn who lost their lives on September 11.
