Fan with etched mother of pearl guards and sticks; beige silk leaf with lace trim and appliqué and painted birds and flowers; metal handle and rivet with rhinestone buttons.
Gallery Label: 
According to the accession records, this fan was presented by Jenny Lind to Ole Bull, her violinist during her American tour of the early 1850s.
