Description:
Leaded glass and bronze cone-shaped "Elizabethan" shade made up of eight panels; background of purplish-blue composed of double layer of glass, with arabesque decoration in yellow glass; studded with purple jewels. Shown with bronze four-legged claw feet library base (N84.31.2) and cap (N84.29.3).
Gallery Label:
Intricate twisting shapes, double layers of glass, and inset jewels make this shade a particularly good example of Tiffany Studios' high standards of workmanship.
