This watercolor depicts buildings on Broadway from no. 58., at the corner of Exchange Place, to no. 74, about halfway up the block to Wall Street. It was copied by Hosier from Jones and Newman's Pictorial Directory of New York, 1848. (There is a copy in the Print Room, NYHS.)
