Second saucer is marked in Japanese characters and has been translated as follows: "Made by Mr. Tanaka in Mikawa Province".
Description: 
Tea set with one porcelain teacup and two saucers; all painted with scenes of Japanese warriors. Scenes on cup and saucer set depicts two military leaders. Scene on second saucer depicts nobleman attended by two servants visiting military leader.
