Description:
Embroidered silk contained crazy quilt; center composed of 20 embroidered patchwork blocks, some with appliqué; wide purple velvet border with arrows embroidered in yellow floss along seams.

This quilt was made for the donor, John Vosburgh Irwin (1874-1967) by his grandmother, Mrs. Isaac W. Vosburgh (Sarah Jane Fletcher, 1818-1912).
