Description:
Wrought silver compote; circular, shallow, bowl-shaped body with wide flattened edges and an applied, cast foliate rim; seated on an circular, splayed foot with a beaded edge and an applied, cast foliate footring; plain ring body joint; all over, detailed floral, fern and thistle repoussé chasing around the center of the body and the foot; maker's mark stamped on the base.
