David Cohen, owner of Chelsea Jeans, a clothing store located at Broadway and Fulton St., created this memorial from merchandise on display in his store when debris from the attack severely damaged his inventory on the morning of 9/11. Cohen sealed ash-covered Ralph Lauren sweaters and shirts, Levi's jeans, sweatshirts, and also paper and receipts blown from offices in the WTC in a 50 sq.ft. glass tableau in an effort to provide an unmediated reminder of the events of 9/11.
