Porcelain charger with blue underglaze decoration consisting of a narrow band of diamond and flower pattern above large clusters of flowers on rim; central seated figure facing dragon like bird in pastoral setting.
Gallery Label:
Belonged to William Minturn (1734-1799), merchant of New York and Newport. It belonged to his descendents Helen Burr Smith and Henrietta Rorer Smith.
