Wooden cane with straight, tapered shaft with ivory knob handle, silver collar and eyelet, brass ferrule and iron tip.

According to accession records, this cane is associated with W. de Groot, who served as a Captain in the American Revolution. More likely, this cane belonged to the donor's father, William de Groot (1825-1898).
