Blue silk ribbon suspended from gilt metal ornate pin-back plaque; American flag in the shape of bow sewn onto ribbon; applied below is circular button with photographic portrait of Morton and facsimile of his signature; inscription printed in gold on ribbon: "1896/FOR PRESIDENT/LEVI P. MORTON/NEW YORK/ST. LOUIS, MO./JUNE 16TH"; bottom of ribbon decorated with gold metallic edging with gold metallic bullion fringe.
