Description:
Leaded glass "Bamboo" table lampshade; 16" diameter globe-shaped shade depicting bamboo stalks and leaves growing alongside a horizontal wire trellis; long tapering leaves rendered in green fibrillated glass with yellow mottling; background of whitish, semi-opaque glass. Integrated "Bamboo" base (N84.78.2) consists of a sectioned main stem supported by eight slimmer reedlike stalks each of which divides into five rootlets, which rise from a round platform. Cap (N84.78.3) made of sixteen reeds radiating from center to periphery; center knob depicts a multitude of seeds.
