Description:
Badge commemorating the opening of Brooklyn Bridge in 1883; with elaborate engraved metal pin-back bar consisting of intertwined letters "N", "Y", and "B" and two ribbons suspended below; top is red silk satin ribbon with inscription imprinted in gold: "New York/AND/Brooklyn/Bridge/May 24th 1883."; gold and silver metallic tapes at upper and lower edge of ribbon; longer white silk satin ribbon is beneath, with red silk satin ribbon imprinted in gold "ENGINEER" attached diagonally across bottom; with gold metallic bullion fringe at bottom.
