Description:
Leaded glass and bronze "Apple Blossom" hanging shade; 22" diameter globe-shaped shade set within a bronze fixture consisting of an openwork apron and eight ribs which extend below apron; ribs divide four repeats of two design patterns; blossoms are pink streaked with white and orange; flower centers are a spotted yellow-orange; leaves executed in mottled light and dark green and branches in dark brown; background in lower part of shade golden, fading to creamy white towards top.

This shade was originally designed as a chandelier (to hang inverted). An identical example is in the Garden Museum Collection.
