Gilt bronze struck medal with obverse showing draped bust of Andrew Jackson facing right with legend: "ANDREW JACKSON PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES/A.D. 1829." Reverse shows clasped hands below crossed peace pipe and tomahawk; legend: "PEACE/AND/FRIENDSHIP."
