Description:
Copper struck medal with obverse showing two full-length figures; Vernon at left, facing three-quarters to right, with sword in his right hand; Brown at right, facing three-quarters to left; between them crown above and ship below; legend within line border: "THE . BRITISH . GLORY . REVIV . D: BY . ADMl. VERNON : COMR. BROWN." Reverse depicts devil leading Sir Robert Walpole by rope around his neck into open mouth of dragon at left; legend on scroll emerging from devil's mouth: "MAKE ROOM FOR SIR ROBERT"; in exergue: "NO.EXCISE."
