Description:
Brass struck medal with obverse showing two full-length figures; Vernon at left facing three-quarters to right, wearing hat; baton in his right hand; Ogle at right facing left; baton in his left hand; legend within line border: "ADML VERNON AND SR CHALONER OGLE"; in exergue: "WE LOOK FOR/DON BLASS." Reverse depicts distant view of fort with ship entering harbor; inscription at center: "DON/BLASS"; legend: "TOOK CARTHAGENA APRIL 1741."
