Description:
Both cream colored and brown, mid-weight, wove, machine made paper. Larger piece is folded around the other four pieces and appear as if to make a sketch book. Some acid staining on sheets and dicoloration from both ligth and dirt.

According to the accession records, this tabouret was used by Asher B. Durand, an artist and engraver best known for his Hudson River school paintings.
